Turtle Class (Ages 5 and UP) | Tuesdays at 7pm - AUGUST

Swim class for big kids! Turtle Swim is geared towards children ages 5 and up. We work on kicking, paddling technique, body position, breath holding, swimming underwater, and swimming on your own in a more mature setting. We use big kid toys, different language and venture a little deeper into the pool when they’re ready. Even if your kid is brand new to swimming, we’ll lay a solid foundation and work our way all the way up to swimming on your own and paddling to the wall. Kids 8 and up tend to thrive in a peer setting, and we have all kinds of ways to build their confidence and get them excited about try new things.

We have a huge focus on water safety in this class and will have a new water safety concept each week - how and when you can safely enter the water, what to do in an emergency, how to get to the side and climb out, and so much more. It’s all about fun, and we’ll use toys and games to keep it fun and fast paced.
